The first legal whisky from the Isle of Harris has arrived! The Hearach single malt whisky is crafted using soft Outer Hebridean waters from the Abhainn Cnoc a’ Charrain, flowing over some of the oldest rocks on earth. It features 100% Scottish Concerto barley, lightly peated at 12-15ppm with peat hand-cut from 'Cleite Mhòr' in South Harris, where peat harvesting has been a tradition for generations. This Scotch undergoes a long fermentation lasting up to five days and matures for at least five years in three types of casks: Fino butts, first-fill bourbon, and oloroso sherry casks.
