2020 Bedrock Wine "The Bedrock Vineyard" Heritage Red Blend (Sonoma Valley, CA) 7R

This exciting blend is composed of 30+ varietals, and yet continues to be beautifully balanced and complex. Rich dark fruit is complemented by refreshing zippiness, making it a great pairing for a meat dish or heartier pasta.

    About The Varietal

    Carignan

Carignan is a grape variety with dark skin, believed to have originated in Aragon. This grape is prevalent in wines produced along the Mediterranean coast, particularly in northeastern Spain and the Languedoc-Roussillon region of France. It is frequently used for blending with other significant regional grape varieties, including Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvedre.

    About The Producer

    Bedrock Wine Co.

Bedrock Wine Co. was founded in 2007 by Master of Wine, Morgan Twain-Peterson. As he says: "We believe diversity adds excitement to life. My wines aren't limited to one style but reflect my eclectic tastes, creating more engaging experiences." Morgan began making wines in a converted chicken coop, focusing on vineyards with character. As Bedrock grew, it moved to a larger facility and welcomed Chris Cottrell as a partner, along with a dedicated team. Bedrock is committed to preserving California's historic vineyards, planted in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, which have survived wars, Prohibition, and market changes.
