About The Varietal
Skrlet is a white-wine grape originating from the continental part of Croatia. Currently, only a small number of wineries produce Skrlet wines, as the variety is still in the process of recovering from near-extinction in the latter half of the 20th century. A typical Skrlet wine is characterized by its lightness, crisp acidity, and fresh aromas, which can range from newly cut hay to quince and green apple.
Enjoy with spring vegetables, soft cheeses, or aromatic herbs and delicate spices.
