On the palate, it offers a fresh, crisp, and slightly sappy fruit flavor, with a touch of minerals and spice in the finish. The grapes are grown on elevated, cooler terraces with light, stony soils, which cause the sugar formation in the grapes to progress more slowly. The grapes are harvested when their flavor is well-developed, but their natural sugar and potential alcohol levels remain relatively low. This is consistently the lightest Grüner Veltliner of the year.
