The nose offers a blend of citrus, pear, orange blossom, lemon curd, and honeysuckle. Vibrant yellow fruit follows onto a textured, mineral-driven palate with balanced acidity. Subtle French oak notes of vanilla and almond enhance the wine, leading to a long, dry finish with peach blossoms and marzipan.

Established in 1776, Boekenhoutskloof is located in Franschhoek Valley. The farm's name honors the indigenous Cape Beech tree, referenced by the chairs on the wine label. Purchased in 1993, it now produces sustainable wines, including Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Viognier, under the leadership of winemaker Marc Kent.
