    2018 Sant’or Agiorgitiko (Peloponnese, GR) 6R

The nose presents classic Agiorgitiko aromas of fresh fruit, like sour cherry and licorice, leaning slightly towards ripeness with impressive concentration and depth. The palate is rich with high tannins and acidity, delivering a bold yet structured mouthfeel.

    About The Varietal

    Agiorgitiko

Agiorgitiko is an aromatic red wine grape that is indigenous to Greece's Peloponnese peninsula. It is one of the most commonly cultivated grape varieties in the country, second only to Xinomavro, and is known by various local names. Agiorgitiko is the exclusive grape variety allowed in the Nemea appellation and thrives in the warm Mediterranean climate of that region.
