Situated west of the village of Morgon, in the southernmost area of the appellation, the vineyards lie on gentle, southeast-facing slopes at altitudes between 350 and 400 meters. The soil, heavily eroded and full of stones, imparts this Morgon "Les Charmes" with the lush fruit character of top Beaujolais wines and the rich, refined elegance characteristic of Burgundy wines.
