Pedro Coelho's philosophy is to make wines with minimal intervention, using only old vines and natural yeasts. "We aim for freshness of fruit and vibrancy, looking always for the vineyard expression." This white field blend comes from higher vineyards in the Douro Superior. It is fresh, fruity and bright with a slight saline note complimenting the lemon and grapefruit, with some fine herbs on the finish.
About The Varietal
Rabigato is a scarce Portuguese white wine grape variety primarily grown in the Douro region. Known for producing vibrant and crisp wines, it offers subtle floral aromas. Notably, these wines often have the potential to age gracefully while maintaining their inherent freshness.
Enjoy with roasted veggies with a bit of cheese or dairy! Creamed spinach, broccoli cheddar soup, or a loaded baked potato are our favs!
