The Clos Erasmus, with its serious and robust character, embodies a classic Priorat profile, showcasing graphite, dark fruit, and licorice notes. It’s a substantial Priorat with notable weight, concentration, and impact. The wine retains hints of smoke, toast, and spice from its aging process—entirely in barrels, about 40% of which were new, for approximately 18 months—and benefits from some time to mature in the bottle.
