2021 Eraldo Revelli "Autin Lungh" Dogliani (Piedmont, Italy) 3R

Eraldo and his daughter Claudia are located at 450 meters above sea level. Their vineyards enjoy a microclimate of great temperature variation and sea breezes from the Ligurain coast. As second- and third-generation winemakers, they take the Dolcetto grape seriously, and they produce good wines. The division of labor on the Revellis' farm consists of Eraldo focusing on the vineyards and Claudia devoting her energies to the cellar.

This expressive, single vineyard Dogliani comes from the Revellis' "long vineyard," (Autin Lungh in Piemontese dialect), full of 25-year-old vines. This wine is aged in stainless steel casks for a year, maintaining all of its bright fruitiness. Autin Lungh shows a deeper, more persistent berry fruit and herbal notes with a longer, lingering finish.

    About The Varietal
