About The Varietal
Parellada is one of the primary grape varieties utilized in the production of Spain's renowned sparkling wine, Cava. This grape is indigenous to the Catalonia region's hills and is rarely grown elsewhere, with just 5 percent of Spain's 20,000 acres of Parellada vineyards located outside of Catalonia.
