The appealing aromas of green apple and lemon peel in the white Hautes-Côtes are enhanced by hints of linden flowers and underscored by a saline mineral character. It has a lively and fresh texture, with a light body, crisp acidity, and enough substance to leave a pleasing impression on the palate. Despite being harvested on September 17th from vines above Nuits in Concœur, which is relatively late, the grapes retain remarkable tension.
About The Varietal
Chardonnay, possibly the most famous among white grape varieties, is frequently regarded as reaching its peak expression in its Burgundian birthplace. However, this grape has journeyed across the globe, and Chardonnay wines, ranging from outstanding to less inspiring, can now be discovered in various wine-producing regions worldwide.

About The Producer
Anne Gros took over her father's estate in 1988, and at just 25 years old, she grew the family domain from 3 to 6.5 hectares. As a woman winegrower, Anne had to prove herself in the industry, and under her watch, she has made their family’s heritage one of the most extraordinary domains of Burgundy. She is now a mother of three and works on the domaine with her children, who will take over her role someday.
