2022 Progressive Wine Co. Pinot Noir (Russian River Valley, CA) 3R

With another year of winemaking under our belt, we truly crafted the Pinot Noir of our Russian River dreams with the 2022 Cohort 2 vintage. The bright garnet color of the wine is so engaging, and the expressive nose draws you in with bright raspberry, wild strawberry and fresh tea leaf undertones. On the palate, this wine is just plain yummy.

The wine weighs in at a 3R on the Progressive Scale, meaning it has a little roundness thanks to 10 months of aging in French Oak. Beautiful acid from front to back makes this a fantastic food pairing wine. This year's Pinot Noir is youthful, carefree and absolutely delicious. Pair it with absolutely everything from salmon, pork and duck (with a cherry sauce - yes, please!) to stooping it with friends on Halloween.
