2023 Arnot-Roberts Touriga Nacional Rose (Healdsburg, CA) 2P

The Arnot Roberts Rosé is especially unique as it is 100% Touriga Nacional, a grape that is not commonly used in the production of rosé (especially in the US!) Juicy melon, citrus ride and tart strawberries make this rosé bright and zesty with a mineral driven acidity and kiss of saline. This would make a perfect pairing with bruschetta, grilled shrimp or guacamole!

    About The Varietal

    Touriga Nacional

Touriga Nacional is a dark-skinned grape variety widely regarded for producing some of Portugal's finest red wines. Extensively planted in the northern Dao and Douro wine regions, this variety plays a crucial role in the production of both dry red wines and the fortified wines of Port. Its distinctive characteristics contribute to the complexity and quality of Portuguese wines.

    About The Producer

    Arnot-Roberts

Founded in Healdsburg in 2001 by childhood friends Duncan Arnot Meyers and Nathan Lee Roberts, Arnot-Roberts began with just one barrel of wine made in their basement. Sourcing grapes from remarkable vineyards across California, Duncan and Nathan's upbringing in Napa Valley instilled in them a deep appreciation for agrarian life and winemaking. Nathan became a cooper of oak wine barrels, following in his father's footsteps, while Duncan honed his winemaking skills in renowned wineries in Napa and Sonoma counties. Arnot-Roberts focuses on producing distinctive, site-driven wines that reflect the unique terroirs of Northern California, sourcing grapes from vineyards in Napa Valley, Sonoma Coast, Santa Cruz Mountains, Santa Rita Hills, Clearlake, and Sierra Foothills. Single-vineyard wines are the cornerstone of their production, complemented by appellation bottlings that showcase their origins. With a commitment to working with passionate and conscientious growers, Arnot-Roberts strives to create honest and expressive wines that capture the essence of their terroir.
