Cooler alpine and maritime climate wines with light-body and high acidity

Trepat may not be a familiar grape to all, but if you have ever enjoyed Cava Rosé, you have enjoyed this core grape variety from Northeast Spain. Winemakers Mariona and Albert saw the potential in this lighter-toned, high altitude red wine so much that they took a chance on making a 100% Trepat wine. Light bodied with grippy tannins and bright acidity, this bottle features notes of red berries, flint and a class "natty," tart finish. We recommend serving chilled with shrimp tacos!
About The Varietal
Trepat is a red-wine grape variety native to northeastern Spain. It is prominently featured in the production of sparkling rosado Cavas in the region, but it can also be used in red-wine blends alongside Garnacha and Tempranillo.
Enjoy with beef carpaccio, savory herbs, tomatoes, and mushrooms.
