Winemaker Stefan Vaja is a ninth-generation farmer who lives in the same house and makes wine in the same cellar as his forefathers did. His winemaking is all biodynamic and he teaches organic viticulture at the local winemaking school. His Gewurtztraminer is fermented in large Slovenian oak barrels and shows beautiful balance, acidity, texture, and perfumed fruit. Pair with salmon sashimi and various sushi dishes – anything with smooth texture and complex flavors.
