St George, based out of California, originally created their Shochu because they wanted to produce the perfect pairing for ramen. The bottle’s label is a mixture of the California’s state flag with Japan’s flag. Distilled from locally produced sake lees, the result is a unique spirit with nutty, mushroom, and earthy flavors with a touch of cocoa on the finish.
